I don't know if the new forums aren't fully configured yet or what, but when I do a search on my login name I get no results. I've tried "Zoom" and "zoom". Should this be working?
Second, what I'd really like to see (and I realize that this probably requires a feature request to the people that created the BBS package) is a nice summary of all the threads that I am currently involved in. This is equivalent to the search above, but it's always there. To save on processing time (doing this for every user every time), you can make it a dedicated link which forces me to request it. The key thing is that it automates the search for me. I'd want to see all the threads that I've started or replied to in the last X days.
And just to put icing on this cake, I'd like to be able to flag a thread for follow-up and have it show up on this list, too. In other words, maybe I haven't contributed to a thread, but I want to watch it. Flagging it would add it to a special list that I can quickly call up with one click.
Frankly, I often forget which threads I'm in, and it's not easy to find them. Well, it would be easier if the search by user name worked.

Actually, I just realized that the search would NOT be the same since there is no option (that I can see) to search ALL the available forums at once. I forgot about that. So now I would say that this feature would be extremely valuable.

Currently, to search for an individual's posts, you must search by their member number, rather than by their name.
Zoom, your member number is 5171
You can get the member number of anyone by finding a post made by them. Then check the source code for that page. The member number will be present near the member's name and status, parallax just commented the member number out.
Here is an exampel from this page, it is where I got your member number. I have bolded the important parts:

That's good to know, but it's obviously rather useless for most people since they're not going to see this thread. When will this be fixed?
Maybe in the meantime you could add a little note to that page to this effect?

sounds like you should use two things: the recent posts page for the threads you've contributed to and your browser's bookmark function for those that you haven't.

Excellent! But where is that "recent posts" link?? I don't see it anywhere. Obviously, I can now bookmark what you gave me, but what about everyone else?

The "Most Recent Posts" is now called "Today's Active Topics". The link is above the Main forums listings, on the right. Or bookmark it, the link is here.
