I'm trying to find some old posts that I made over a year ago, and what would be tremendously useful is an option to display all of the posts a user has made.

Any chance of this happening?

Yeah, and an option to display it chronologically?

Well, I would think chronologically would be the logical default, though I think there should be other options, such as by forum, or by thread.

Of course, when you've got thousands of posts (such as cypher there) it might be trickier. How long are posts kept on the system? Is there an archive somewhere? If there is, is it searchable?

Enquiring minds want to know. ^_^

Can't you just do a search by a certain username? Or did I misunderstand?

Actually, you can't.

The "search in" menu doesn't give the "username" field as an option.

And if I were to search a username, every time that user is mentioned it'd show up...

Yah, once the *cough* new server is in, we're going to update the serach engine so that it'll (a) work and (b) allow you to search by all posts by a certain membername, instead of by this silly member number thing it does right now.

That should provide the same functionality, right?
