Is there any chance we could go back to the old login style? This new one throws up several extra screens. It was just easier when you could type a username/password as you posted.

This wouldn't be so bad if the site wasn't so slow now, but its making me post a lot less than I used to because of the extra steps involved.

(1) The new heatsink will probably be installed tonight and the server should be in later this week (it then has to be couriered to Boston).

(2) Sadly, no. This is the only way UBB 6 works, and short of rewriting the board, there is no way to shut it off. Hopefully you will find it a little more tolerable once the forums are faster.

Also, you only have to login once. Why do you keep logging out?
