There are more and more site designs/designers actually defaulting on replacing 'email address contact' on their respective pages such as yours. A moment ago I heard a 'news-tip story' for your digestion, but since I and probably millions of other net users don't have an email POP account and thus the browser isn't configured to open up an email client.
But a better thing to do is to automatically have a new browser window open up triggered by the message
(your browser isn't configured to etc.)
