Will I get my original Name and Password back?!?

Some of you know that I frequent the boards under MikeM32 which I registerred back in December 2000. I've accrued almost 2500 posts under that name and really don't want to have to start off with this new alternate name.
So my question to the mods and admin types here is; will I ever get to use my original name and password again or am I sh_t outta luck?

As per the front page:

i think the problem will eventually be fixed. But hey, think of it this way; your registered date is displayed as 1990, a full 8 years before this forum even existed.
