Surely not...I mean, the XServe is cool but how many people here are actually going to buy one? The discussion will tank as soon as the servers are shipping. No reason to set up a forum that's going to get no traffic at all. I thought we were looking to reduce/combine forums, not create new ones. Just my opinion...

It seems the Xserve is a very different product than the Power Mac. I vote for a new forum, low-traffic as it may be. If you don't want to increase the number of forums, then you should cut or consolidate somewhere else.

Servers - OS X & Xserve.
We've expanded the X Server forum to incorporate Xserve as well, since it's the same community that'll be using it, and that way we can consolidate all the server discussion/support in one area.
I'm aware it doesn't squarely fall under Mac OS X right now, but I think it's ok for right now. OS X Unix will likely become a general Unix/Linux forum once we kill off Linux on Mac as well.
So please post Xserve stuff in the Servers forum.
