I'd like to suggest that a new forum be created to address rumors and hearsay. I used to check the G3/G4 board for technical info and information about my machine, but there's only rampant speculation about alleged new products. Is it designed to be a hardware or vaporware forum? I'd like to see more substantive hardware discussion. Additionally, wasn;t the all-in-one G3 beige? Just curious. Thanks.

All of the hardware forums are, according to the headers, for both "Troubleshooting and Discussion" so both are indeed welcome in their respective forums. I too used to think about a future hardware forum, but IMO it's convenient and sensible to read about Power Mac discussions of technical issues as well as future products in the Power Mac forum.

With rumors rampant that G5's are being introduced in January, it's reasonable to see a hefty amount of speculation discussion. This also became much more frequent in PowerMac when the AppleInsider forums folded . . . True rumormongers those AI folks.
