It seems that the current custom title setup is a bit outdated ... too many people are "Addicted to MacNN." Here's what I propose:

1-99: New Member (1 star)
100-249: Junior Member (1 star)
250-499: Member (2 stars)
500-999: Senior Member (3 stars)
1000-1499: Veteran Member (4 stars)
1500-1999: Elite Member (5 stars)
2000-2999: Addicted to MacNN (5 green stars)
3000+: MacNN Master (5 some-other-color stars)

Or we could try some other, more creative nomenclature.

I agree. Though, I don't like that name MacNN Master.
I'd rather be Clinically Insane.
The server made a boo boo. (403)

I don't much like the idea,

I think it should be exacly what it is now.

BUT, it would be nice for some more titles after 1000

Basicly I like the idea of what we have now, only maybe some titles for after 1000.

I quite like it the way it is now.
MI5 doesn't do evil. Just treachery, treason and armageddon.

what, you guys not have the patience or concerned you might not be able to make it to Clinically Insane?
or is it just that you don't like being called addicted?
there's no real reason to further spread out the titles at lower levels. it might create the impression that everyone here is even crazier than we are . and once you're addicted, you're addicted (until you stop posting and then nobody will ever see your title next to your name cause no one will ever see your name. there's the ticket! )
so yeah, don't really need new levels. though with the ubb upgrade and built-in support for custom member levels coming, there's no telling what silly things a giddy person with cp access might come up with in a moment of drunken mirth

250 posts just to become a member?! I was a huge part of the Team long before I got to 250. I think those are all good ideas, but they're just too high.
