When browsing around the MacNN forums, I often keep several windows open - one for the top page, and one for each of the several forums I'm most interested in. This makes it easy to keep up to date with the most recent changes in the forums.
However, all the forum pages have the exact same <TITLE> meaning that the Windows menu in my web browser ( OmniWeb) contains the same entry for each window:
Here I have windows open for the main forums.macnn.com, 2 different forums ('Airport and Networking', and 'Mac OS X - General Discussion'), and the window in which I'm typing this post - not that you can tell.
If each forum included the forum name in the <TITLE> it would make it simple to switch between each forum especially when switching back to OmniWeb after using another application since some of the forum windows are hidden behind other applications.

I'll look into it and see if it's possible, it would definitely be a nice addition.

Probably because it was hacked in and hacks don't stay. I think I did this before, you just put $forumtitlte or whatever in the <title> but I'm sure 'lax knows that already

Was about to ask about this, being mildly annoyed by it, and found this old thread.
Since there was no definite answer whether it can or can not be done, I give it a little...
bump!
Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this morally questionable b-word activity - but it's better than posting a new thread, isn't it?
