Since both are currently in production, andvery much different, wouldn't it make sense to seperate both into seperate forums? Just a suggestion.

I hear you, but this would result in a rather unmanagable number of forums, increasing every time Apple significantly updated a product's design and/or processor (which - hoorah! - we've seen a lot of in recent years).
I kind of like MacNN the way it is: iMac G3/G4 and iBook G3 for consumers, Power Mac G3/G4 and PowerBook G3/G4 for professionals. Seems to make sense that the forums are audience driven vs. dictated by product updates.
Anyway, welcome to the forums.

TOO MANY forums already. Maybe a few ought to collapsed, rather than have more added. But otherwise leave as is, seems logical enough to me.
