Only good thing about Windows: abundance of popup killers.

Popup killers are nice, but you can try this too.

im sure theyre just trying to increase revenue. running a site like this isnt exactly a big money generator. having ads pop up all over the place surely isnt the solution either...

I agree that they need to make $$, but I think that better than pop-up ads would be affiliate links, i.e. Amazon, as I have bought a lot of books and if they had a link that earned them some revenue, I would not only use it, but I'd guess they could earn more $$ than from popups.

They could do the same with other shops too, but maybe it is beyond their control.

Actually, we don't like them either, and we didn't ask for them. It was an automatic "upgrade" on the part of the ad provider, and we filed for their removal a little while ago. Unfortunately, they're *rather* slow at processing stuff like that, so it'll be another few weeks before they're entirely gone.

Your "threat" will not do a thing to help your or our situation :-P.

Maybe you could rephrase that?
