This has been happening to me for weeks now. I'm using OSX 10.1.3 with MSIE. All other browsers have no problems. So, i'm not sure what the issue is. Also, this is the only site that this happens on.

This makes no sense, since they all load for me ... I'll try to track down the issue though.

Gzl... it's random images... sometimes the starts, right now post, new delete, next newest thread buttons are all broken on the bottom of the page... weird stuff...

i've noticed it too.
random images not appearing.
IE (on both 9 and X) pausing/crashing when loading the main page and the forums. good to know it's not just IE. and it's not just me.

Has anyone noticed that at times kermit.macnn.com seems to be down or slow and that it halts the loading of the page forever? With OmniWeb's Process Viewer I can just kill that process, but I can't with OS 9, which I primarily use

Another plug for it's process viewer.. if you are viewing a page and it continually seems to halt for a while.. then all of a sudden.. it suddenly loads, it almost certain that it's a rogue file causing the problem. Like with versiontracker, it's CSS file often halts the site, so you just stop it and everything else quickly loads.

Yea, they are virtually all gone now. I'm hoping it's because they are in the middle of fixing it. A web page with several dozen broken images gets hard to look at after a while.

I've also been having this problem lately. Gifs not loading and such.

But the primary thing that bugs me is that when I'll load a thread with 25+ posts, it will take at least a minute to display the page. The computer will just "freeze" while the IE ball spins (OS 9, IE 5.1). Then, it will come up and be fine. But it happens on any thread with a fair amount of posts.
