I would like to see this webpage bring you to the related forum so as I can post a comment about it. Everytime I login I get
thrown into this massive page of postings not related to the story I want to comment on. And when I do a search for it
it doesn't show up!

I'm just going to post my comment about the story of Umax charging for drivers here then.
I have a Umax scanner. I will be getting rid of it now that Umax has decided to turn on the users of its products. There always the last ones to put out any kind of driver updates for any of there products. And now they think they can charge for there bad support?
I will be researching another scanner maker. Once who will support OSX.

Don't bother. The posting mechanism only seems to work for a select group and they don't seem to be interested in fixing it.
