For some reason when I try to post polls it says that I "dont have permission" to create new polls. Can anyone help me?

AFAIK you need 50 posts or more to use polls. This isn't the forum admins being elitist, it is to stop people signing up loads of names to skew poll results.

<hr /></blockquote>Just to clarify what tinrib said -- you can vote in polls as soon as you register, but you need 50 posts before you can make polls of your own. And yes, this is to prevent people flooding with polls and such right as they register.

Gorgonzola -- It's been a while since I was here, but I obviously have well more than 50 posts (588 I think, how's that for a good guess? ;-) ). I'm logged in (as I'm posting this), but I can neither vote in polls nor create new polls.

Any ideas?

-rob.<hr /></blockquote>If it has been a while since you've posted, they upgraded the UBB software recently, and until you post, your profile is not "updated". After the post you just made, you should be good to go. (I think)
