you mean IE, right? the only time it really croaks and dies, is here. use OmniWeb, or Chimera instead

Jesus, I've had the same problem. Just a while ago I had to force quit IE 5.1 twice when trying to view Macnn pictures of MWNY. I am not a fan of IE however Macnn should look into whatever is causing this problem.

That workaround of turning off the cache works for me but its frigging annoying not to cache pages when I am not using my iBook with broad band connections.
So MacNN, when are you going to solve the problem???

Is it MacNN or is it IE. IE freezes up on me or crashed a lot lately. I frequent another chat site as well and both OmniWeb and explorer can't handle it. It's soooo frustrating. And these are are best choices for browsers!

To revive this thread from its death:

I seem to have this problem using Safari under 2.8.

I must have had Safari crash about 5 times in the last month, unfortunately they have all occurred in the last two days, and always with this forum!

Is it a caching problem as suggested above?

Must keep this short. Been at MacNN for two minutes - two crashes.

No other site does this - any ideas?
