Hmm, I just noticed that comments were added today for every story on the main page.. A neat idea, yes, but I hate comment things (like the one on maccentral.com) that only show one post at a time. I hate having to click on a link to read each individual post... which is how it is here.

I dont think any story would ever get more than maybe 10 comments anyways (except for a few). Why not just display them all at once?

Well, that's just it. We don't quite know how to limit it and where.

Do you shove 10 submissions down someones bandwidth, or do you go one at a time? They're both annoying, but my thought was that one at a time at least gave people the option.

But maybe I will open it up to 10 or so, and then make a continued page somewhere.

What would be really nice (and which won't happen coincidentally) is if we could ever get any news story with over 10 comments to spawn it's own UBB forum thread. But I've tried that and it's ugly.
