I just thought, with all these ideas for forums going around, I may as well put in my 2 cents.
Howzabout a security forum... covering everything form multiple users to AppleShare IP etc...
I mean, people that think having multiple users on makes their computer impenetrable to anyone with even physical access to it really has another thing coming... took me about 2 mins to figure it out, and without a boot disk or any external factors...
If people new the holes, then they could fill them in... make the MacOS truly the most secure OS on the planet. Patches could be written for those holes etc... I help admin a network at school, and the security systems available for Mac are so pathetic... foolproof, on guard etc... They can be very secure, but not out of the box - only if the computer is set up just right. This forum could show people how to set it up right....
Anyway I'm rambling. Give it a thought, and either accept it or dismiss it just as quickly.

just noticed the typo in the topic - sorry. Lemme rephrase that - "While we're all throwin' ideas around..."

actually, I find macs quite secure. I always tried to break into At Ease in High School, and I could never do it. I couldnt run a program from a disk, and it was impossible. I uploaded the program to a directory, then downloaded it at school, but it was a program so it wouldnt run. Couldnt get past it at all. It pissed me off. Grrr...

At Ease is quite easy to crack if you spend some time with it - as is every Mac security program I have encountered.
What I mean is a forum that gives general tips, like "DELETE THE LAUNCHER"!!!
The Launcher is one of the biggest security holes I have seen - I used it to break FoolProof, On Guard and Multiple Users!
So if admins new to the game needed some hints...
