The thing I like most about this forum is that the moderator's don't blindly support Apple at all costs like on some boards. It did my heart good to see Misha post the truth on the "overclocking" message. Let them have the speed. I don't need the fastest comp on the market, I just want the best one. Speed isn't much good if your OS still sucks. It's good to see people here realize that Macs do have some problems, and are willing to help each other solve them. It's nice to see actual help, not just "Mac-ismo" (as the Spanish say- well, they probably don't, but I thought it was funny when I heard it). Thanks for all the help everyone. Oh, and Misha? Single? Dinner sometime??

I was glad to see that other Mac users were able to accept my comments without dispute, even those who had previously said that whatever MHz G3 was so much faster than whatever MHz Athlon.

Single for now, although if you didn't realize I'm a guy (many people get caught up on the name, which is Russian for Michael, although I'm not Russian... blame my parents)... not that I'm assuming that you're a guy, but... ugh, I've dug myself into a hole.

My aplolgies wlonh. I also meant it in jest, and was laughing when I was typing it. I didn't mean anything by it and hope you accept my apologies. I am already in your debt for the help you have given me on my questions, So I would never dream of telling you to "shut up" in any serious sort of way. hey no problem now that i know your meaning, i'm just old-fashioned with a highly (maybe too highly) developed sense of propriety sometimes...
