you know, these fora are doing very well for the most part... and it is completely due to the registered and non-registered MacNN forum users who are so willing to help and share their knowledge

i know i have learned a lot and have had some good laughs

No, thank you and the rest of the macNN staff for being responsive to our needs. We all have a lot more in common than just the OS we use, and now can interact on more levels than just "my mac is broke, what now?". I have met some very cool people on this board (except for feathers, who just plain sucks ) and look forward to seeing what everyone has posted. Of course the help has been much appreciated too. I'm glad that all the new forums are working out so well.

I used to post hundreds of threads on Apple's boards - then they became WAY TOO dictatorial for me! I like it here (and MacFixIt - sorry!) because we all get the room to vent/share/vent and that makes it more enjoyable...now if you could only block ca$h68 and dragonpuss it would be perfect!

I do that from time to time too. Ya know, e-mail people just to make sure their not dead!! Nothing wrong with that, completely normal. Just one of those chores that I put in my To Do List.
