Lemme see here...

We have a PowerMac G3/G4/Cube forum, which covers the Gossamer Tower and Desktop models (the beige G3s), Yosemite (Blue and White), the G4s, (The Yikes! and Sawtooth models) and the G4 cube.

And in this corner, we have an Office 2001 forums that deals with one piece of software. (Okay, four.).

What do we need an MP3 forums for? and a DV forum? sheesh.

Do I see a problem here?

Good job splitting up the MacOS X fora, that *was* a smart thing to do.


Anyway, my main reason for posting this is to alert you to the fact that we have one forum for, at *least* 5 different models of Macintoshes, and one forum for a single piece of software.

Any way to split up the PowerMac G3/G4/Cube forum into sub-fora, similar to the MacOS X fora?

Personally I think there is no need for that...
It works well as it is. There has never been any confusion like that.
There just isn't enough traffic through there to warrant "beige boxes", "b&w's" and all the G4's...
As long as people specify what computer they have...
And anyway, the beige G3's could be handled in the 'older systems' area... being the old world machines and all...
And by the way... why couldn't this go in the original thread?

I dunno. Just wanted to start fresh. I dont like posting in "hot" threads, because no one reads the posts at the bottom of them.

I see your point with the MP3 forum, but what's wrong with the DV forum?

I agree. Say good bye to the mp3 forum, but definitely keep the DV forum.
