Appleworks question... vutenor 1 03-20-2000 12:58 AM

This is what troubles me. You click on Topic on the Main Forum page that says the last Post is 3-20-2000 07:21 PM. And when you're taken to the thread lists you find that the last post is not 7:21 PM but 12:58 AM. Which you've read hours before. Why is that? This is the only forum that operates that way.

reload, my friend, reload...

the discrepancy you describe is unknown to my Mac and myself...

because it does not happen!

and if conscientious reloading doesn't 'fix' it for you, wipe your cookies and start fresh...

If this happened once in awhile I could understand reloading. But it happens every time I come to this forum. I never, I repeat, never, have this problem on the MacFixit or NoWonder forums.

The problem is finally solved. I went as you suggested to MacNN prefs. There I used the link to wipe the MacNN cookies. Reset my preferences and everthing is fine. Thanks, wlonh. I also want to apologize for giving this forum a bad time. As you can probably tell I was quite frustrated. So thanks again, Barney
