There is no option in the search page to search the SETI Forum. Using the search link in the SETI Forum leads to the same search page, again with no option for the SETI Forum.
I did try the "All open Forums" option, and it does not apparently search the SETI Forum either. I did a test search for a real post, and the "All open Forums" option did not find it.
I tried the link lower on the page to search private forums. It offered up a dialog to enter my name and password, along with a possible grammar error:
In order to search through the forum private forums, you must first identify yourself so that we can verify which forums you have permission to read.

I assumed that it would allow me to search an open "private" forum like SETI, but it would not allow any searches. It appeared to apply only to the Mod Forum, because I got a message that "you currently do not have access privileges to search any private forums".
How do you search the SETI Forum?
