Animated images have been in a few of the signatures I have seen. I find these distracting, as they are usually not related to the topic, and draw your attention away from the forum. Do you have any plans to disable these, as I find them annoying and they do not add anything to the forum? People with animated images in their signatures, please do not flame me. I don't intend to be rude to those with animated signatures, but I dislike animated images in signatures.

Well, I for one would like to see Disco-based animated signatures banned from the forum. They remind me of polyester, which gives me a rash, and I also don’t like dancing, as it serves to illustrate my two left feet. And I would rather not hear of any laughing, or talking for that matter either!

I for one agree with Simon Kornblith. Animated SIGNATURES are stupid as they prolong the page loading time when they have absolutely no relation to the topic at all. I happen to use animated gifs all the time in my posts, but they are all related somehow to the point I am trying to make and I never use the same one twice.

I am not asking for a restriction to be imposed on the animated signatures in anyway, I just think they're annoying and people shouldn't have the same one in their signature for every post they make.

But if you really want to, then fine I guess. I'll still live. However, you guys shouldn't ridicule and taunt and tease someone just because they think differently....hell, being different from the majority is the basis for the Macintosh computer! For shame!
