a while ago, in the discussion on how many posts it takes to become a senior member, someone mentioned that they get a discount at dealNN. is this true? if so, who does it apply to and how much is it?

All right, all right. I will admit it. Yes, there is a secret DealNN discount plan for senior MacNN members only. We just didn't want to share it around. But since you asked, here is a copy of the discount plan.
10% discount on all DealNN purchases except as otherwise stated in this plan.- Computer related articles only get a 5% discount.
- Minimum 1,000 posts under a single name.
- Must excercise the plan within 30 days of registering at MacNN Forums.
- To activate the discount plan, any member with 1,000 posts exactly should email Misha at his secret email address.
Fine Print (that means you are not supposed to read this part)
non-computer related merchandise excepted from this discount plan. exceeding 20 posts in any one day disqualifies the member from eligibility for this discount. plan not valid if member has no speeding tickets. posting additional posts above 1,000 before receiving misha's plan activation email disqualifies member from this plan. emailing misha for certification at any of his normal email addresses disqualifies member from this plan. to remain eligible, member can have no more than 2 deleted posts, and no less then 4 deleted posts. discounted merchandise is assessed an additional 5% shipping charge. telepaths disqualified. member must have clicked on a minimum of 100 macnn banner ads, and must have the spam copies to prove it. offer not transferrable in whole, in large parts, or in small parts. this offer (post) can be deleted at any time if mods/admins find it inappropriate or not sufficiently profitable.
