The horizontal lines add a much more pleasant feel to the fora.

Showing the brief personal abstract under the member's name is a nice touch.

Well done.

Didn't notice until I had posted - the quick links at the bottom of the page to other forums (no I'm not going to say fora, even though it's correct) is appreciated.

Just noticed it now says where members are from under the user name after posting.

This definetely gives members more defined personality other than just "user name, number of posts".

it looks ok... i think you should go back to having every other comment be light grey though.. makes it easier on the eyes. now every comment is just white background with table borders seperating them.. doesnt look as good imho..
everything you know is wrong (and stupid)

I agree about the grey/white/grey thing. It made it easier to read and follow, know what I mean... I'd like to see that put back.
Looks good - even though it reminds me of explorer (and strangely enough, not OS X)...

I'd like to chime in my agreement with the above comments regarding the grey / white background colours. Otherwise, the new look is fine.

To add my 2 cents, I like the new design, but I agree with the alternating color to the posts. It does make it easier to keep track of which post one is reading...

I also agree about needing the alternating posts color.

My only suggestion is that the grey color used could be somewhat lighter. The grey bands used in the past were just dark enough to make the grey posts a little harder to read than the white posts. I assume that is the reason why that feature was removed.

Am I the only one who has a scroll wheel and appreciate the bottom frame when posting a reply? Now when I write some rebuttal of someone's post, I have to scroll down and back up again, instead of simply scrolling through the bottom frame with the wheel... (ack, I have to do that for this instance too!)

I guess everything is going Aquaisque eh? *sigh* I must be the odd man here for not liking Aqua...but that's another argument...
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...

As I write this, the grey/white banding is missing in the Mac Mod Forum. All white.
