Instead of having posts going oldest down to newest, make it go the other way around so people keeping up with the thread don't have to scroll all the way down to the newest.

Then they would be the ones that scroll all the way down.

How about just hitting the End key on your keyboard? That takes you to the bottom of the page and takes about 1/10th of a second.

How about the pg dn key? That'll work.

Most of us are accustomed to reading from top to bottom anyways, right?

I said most. Not all!

Well, what do you know! Both work here. (Got to try on my other system!)

I'm so addicted to the mouse, I rarely explore keyboard shortcuts. I've only added them to my routine when I stumble across them in a forum or magazine.

Thanks for the tip!

Having said that, I just poked around and discovered that the "Home" key does the opposite function of the "End" key. (And of course "Page Up" does the opposite of Down.) And, instead of a page at a time, like an elevator (a floor at a time), the up and down arrow keys give you that "escalator ride" effect.

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.
