I can understand having banner ads. But banner ads with JAVA APPLETS????? I'm on a Pismo-500 with the latest MRJ, and these things still freeze my computer for a good 15 seconds every time one loads. So every time I click on a message to read it, I end up with a 15 second wait, plus another 15 seconds when I go back to the topic list. It's enough of a pain in the butt to make me start avoiding the site, so I can only imagine what it's like trying to browse the forums on a slower Mac...

I will be addressing this issue on Monday. For some reason, our in-house filtering system is no longer working.

Sorry for the inconvenience and problems.
