Why when you are at the main Macnn.com page, click on the forum link, and then get taken to a page that says "transfering you to the correct place" and a second later takes you to the main forum page? Just curious.

it's because the address for the forums is actually http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi/ so the page at http://forums.macnn.com/ is setup to automatically forward you to the "correct place". basically, this is more convenient because you can type a shorter address and still get to the forums.

I administer a Ultimate BB at work and I also made a redirect page, but the text in the redirect page simply says "Loading ..."

Which is a lie, but users never question it
