What I don't understand is why Ca$h and a couple of you guys (Cipher, Gumby) don't seem to understand that the people who run these boards, the owners, operators, advertisers and I'll wager, more than a few posters, don't appreciate his foul-mouthed, sophomoric attacks on fellow MacNNers. Or his drunken midnight ramblings. Or his recent tales of the joys of drug use. There's a huge list of reasons to ban CaSh completely when one considers the rules we all agreed to when we signed on.

In short, why does the guy stick around when it is so obvious that those of whom he is a guest, don't want him here? Did anybody really miss the abuse while he was gone? He thinks the boards are boring without him and that he's terribly funny. I don't see it. I enjoy the debate being about Macs, new developments in the OS and the odd political or international topic.
Missing out on "How my Neon is the greatest car ever and yours sucks" or "I reeeely msxz a cu grrll named Kely was here cuz i kind a like hr" or "I know somebody who does that so you're an a**hole" doesn't bother me a bit.

geez misha, have you gone back and read your responses and comments everytime this topic comes up? it would seem you are on a one man crusade against ca$h. sure there are others that dont like him, but even some of them said to give his name back. it seems this is a game to you, and the more ca$h asks, the more enjoyment you get out of either saying "no" or locking the thread, or banning his ip for awhile. you say that he has been better, you say that he has been behaving, but you still treat him with the same contempt. are you afraid that giving him his name back would be some sign of weakness? or that he has finally "won"? or is it just a power trip for you, knowing he has to 'beg' you for him name back? i think that ca$h deserves to know the exact reasons you (and any other moderators) refuse to give his name back. post them in a thread, state your reasons in an orderly and inteligent manner for all of us to see. there is surely no harm in that. hmmmm??...(.i knew that psych course i took would come in handy some day).

so what you are saying is you have no problem with ca$h personally, and you only have a problem with what he puts in his posts, i can understand that. but banning his name does not stop him from posting. he still posts. so what does it matter what name it is posted under? i'm just trying to understand your reasoning on not giving his name back.

Thought you guys might wanna know why I was recently banned. The Truth. Well, Misha closed the Lounge during the macexpo thingie. So when it was unlocked, I replied in his 'lounge closed' thread with this:

"Closing the lounge...excellent idea...

FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!"

Thats all I said. Apparently, Misha doesn't ever watch Conan O Brian, or he'd obviously know I was making a funny joke, pulling it from the pages of "Triump the insult comic dog".

I think that getting my IP banned for over 5 days for saying 'poop' is a bit extreme and childish. Frankly, I'm sick of this **** . It's obvious that a great deal of people here enjoy what I've had to say, and what I talk about, otherwise you people wouldn't talk about me so damn much. I'm also kinda pissed off that if any topic concerning me gets brought up in the lounge (where people actually go), some ********** moves it to the suggestions forum everytime (where nobody goes). It's annoying. Give me my god damn name back.

OK, I admit I have been slack in following Ca$h-fest threads, but...

What's so bad about an admin playing around with a power trip? Since the ca$h-ado seems to be all about adolescent games of getting attention, lighting farts, jousting with "authority" and other such cutting-edge Mac innovations

, why shouldn't the admin get to frolic in similar fashion?

I thought Misha's explanation about saving precious (nano?)seconds was a HOOT!
