A precursor: I posted a similar comment last fall about iMac2Day, and found out a few days ago that it's been turned off (another one bites the dust -- iMacworld doesn't go anywhere anymore either, and NoBeige went on hiatus in December but seems to have reawakened; only TheiMac.com seems to be really thriving). Frankly, I think that the new brief note on the iMac2Day front page is quite eloquent, and I agree totally with it.

As for iBook2Day - I don't see anything updated since December 1999. What's the point of leaving it up? I've always thought that the reports should end up in the MacNN section of the ring.

Not that it's relevant, but maybe it is with a few degrees of separation - I want to see the new flat-panel Studio Displays and iMacs on the AppleInsider logo!
