Has the reorg of MacNN under Newsfactor affected the posting of news updates etc? In the past, WWDC etc got excellent coverage on MacNN - easily beating out the other sites with the fastest news posts and adherence to fact.
But this week I'm lost - I have no uptodate stream of news about WWDC. MacAddict stole the show (again, first time with the iBook intro) with Ian's Forum posts FROM THE WWDC SHOW FLOOR).
Stepwise, the logical place to turn for WWDC news and updates, is glacial in its updates and lean on the actual content. Granted, Stepwise is NOT touting itself as the sort of website that wants to provide such a service; thats been the arena of sites like MacNN and recently MacAddict. Stepwise is a developer oriented resource that you can count on for solid technical information - not the fanatical pursuit of everything Apple for all us zealots that can't be there.
These first days of macNN's move under the Newsfactor umbrella give the impression that MacNN is moving away from that hectic style of service; moving more into the current MacCentral style information service.
Anyone have any suggestions (based on recent efforts) for alternative sites for the Mac junkie?
I like the new look - its tidy and easy to read; its just that the content has lagged severely.
