In place of a reoccurring thread about IM screennames, why not add a slot so that people can input their screennames on their profile? We have a slot for ICQ, so why not AIM?

better still put up an AIM icon near the 'reply/edit/email/info' buttons in the same line as the date and time of the post. the icon would be a link to a window that would pop up and either let you send a msg to the user, open a chat room, or add the user to the buddy list.
of course that AIM icon would appear only for those who have entered their AIM info/screen name in the profile while registering.

It's definately not a hard hack to do. A few cookies here, a couple prefs there, and you have yourself a one of a kind UBB hack.

Or (although ICQ user base is much larger) you could replace the ICQ one with an AIM/ICQ box. If the first character was a number (AIM doesnt allow number starting SNs), it would be ICQ and else, AIM.
