Can someone suggest the best way to search the MacNN forums? If I want to search, say, 10 of them for the same keywords, is there a way to do this at once? (The search all forums takes so long that I don't want to do that). It's also odd that the search words box seems to have a limited (and not very high) number of characters which can be entered.

Well, you could seach them one at a time. About 6 months ago, I sent in a suggestiong to the creators of the UBB forums to make the search forums option checkboxes instead of a pulldown menu. That would let you select which forums you wnat and don't want to search. While many people there thought it was a great idea, they just never came through and did it. Too bad

Yeah, searching all forums and archives is a pain. When you know the topic is out there, but don't know what forum it's in, the long search time is annoying. Once it says "2 found" or whatever, and you know that's what you're looking for, you have to wait. I just did such a search, and it won't let you interrupt. It would be nice if you could hit "enough already" and get the results up to that point.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Yonkers can have better TV reception.
