Can it be made so in preferences we can choose to show signatures by default?
In all my posts I can count on one hand how many times I've shown my signature, cause I never remember to check the button...
Or, why not set it universally to show sigs?
Like at AppleInsider?
That way if people don't have sigs it shows nothing, and if they do, it shows it?
If they don't want their signature showed, they clear it, and it won't show anything...
EDIT: Ahh crap, typo in subject line... first time I've done that
Oh well. You all know what I mean.

See?!?
Dammit I forgot my sig file!
And I didn't do that on purpose, I swear it.
LOL, it did work out rather well though

Good Idea...
I stopped using signatures because I never think to check this box...
this is how to check it by default:
(I'm sure that most of you already know it, but I write it to show how simple it is...)
in the html code of the page, the admin must write
<INPUT TYPE="CHECKBOX" NAME="Signature" VALUE="yes" CHECKED>
instead of
<INPUT TYPE="CHECKBOX" NAME="Signature" VALUE="yes" >
Now this would maybe show '-------------' for those who don't have a signature...

and where would we input this, so it would happen every time?
I looked in my profile, preferences, etc, but there was no box to check.

It's the admins who must put this in the html code of the page, not us...

I'd go against this...
I know that I make some posts that just don't work with my sig.
