While I like being logged in, as it is more convientent, it is annoying to at least be able to at least press the edit button and *view* how they did their post. Whether to fix some bad UBB for them or fixing a link. I don't mean editing directly, simply being able to copy the contents and then replying with a fix.

If I wasn't clear please tell me so, thanks.

I believe I understand what he means....

If I wanted to see his post as HE wrote it....

Where Someone could see how a post was before it was posted... so that someone could see a pre-post in the original Non-UBB Code Enviorment....

So that he or others could correct the original posts pre-post message in a reply post.


he just wants to see the intended UBB Code.....

Pretty much ferro. Me and elz. already discussed it. The confusion was that elz didn't know that we couldn't do that since mods can...

Unfortunately, this was a nice "feature" of UBB 5.x that Infopop apparently saw as a bug, since they've removed that. Changing the behavior would require some fairly major hacking of the forum software.
