It's causing pop ups in threads that don't concern him, and constantly causing interference everywhere else. Could the admins please remove the asshole pluging that Laminar is running? It seems to be directed squarely at me, and I'm not sure why.

k, thx!

I think Rob has a point though.

Laminar can (at times) be awfully annoying with short little off-topic remarks or remarks that clearly are meant to bait.

It's really easy, Rob.

I've had him on ignore for ages. Makes it easy to selectively show posts when it seems like he's said something worthwhile.

I never bothered putting *you* on ignore when you had your asshole phases (like years and years of them) because I would've had to update the list every week or so for a new nick.

What are you ranting about this time? I don't get any pop ups from reading threads he has posted in.

Just like several others here...

That's what ignore and/or report are for.

I agree with turtle and rob.

Laminar's become increasingly ruder and meaner to members of this forum (e.g. when lexapro posted about getting a vehicle history report on a VIN) for no explicable reason. It's getting old real fast.
For all the trash I talk, I sure own a lot of Macs...

I could see why he is an asshole to you. You post stupid stuff ALL the time and that can get quite annoying. Let's start a thread "Is there a way to disable the dumbass plugin that downinflames68 is running?"
Just sayin'...

I personally believe that a number of members are being "less than adult" in their posting habits, which does not help our forums run smoothly. Perhaps if everyone started thinking "is this an appropriate thing to say in person" before they posted, we'd have fewer squabbles.

Just sayin'...

Nope. I mean... think of it really. I feel I'm a happier, healthier person now that I'm not married. When I was married, I was usually an asshole on these very boards.

Now look at Laminar. Coincidence? Me thinks not.

All I'm saying is that Laminar was nicer when he was Gossamer. Can we bring Gossamer back? Should I create a petition for that?

Can we also update the vBulletin settings so that each thread has one post per page? It would be easier to bookmark our favorite posts this way and then find them without having to find them on the page with the others. The HTML anchor is not good enough, because the other posts are still on the page, I don't want them there at all.

To all I've offended: I'm gravely sorry. But I think we can all agree that all of the people pissed at me (minus Spheric Harlot) aren't worth anyone's time of day - Rob, shif, and besson are all known for their significant positive, level-headed, even-keeled, and well-reasoned contributions to these boards.

Nope. In the past, I've received warnings for bugging you, Shifuimam, Doofy, and besson3c. Awesome little club you've got going there. I'm sure you're super excited to be grouped with those people.

And since the divorce, he's totally turned his life around, and hasn't earned any type of infractions or ban.
