For this?!?

"That is the worst car I've ever driven. When you open the door, you can't even reach to grab the handle to shut it. They put the handles on the outside EDGE of the door for some reason, so unless you have arms longer than your legs, you can't shut the door. BRILLIANT GM, BRILLIANT! Also, it's extremely hard to see out of. Yes it is cheaper, for a reason. It is a shitty GM product. It will also RAPIDLY depreciate. There is a reason a car that new is already less than a civic.

You are being dumb. For the last time....

Get a honda with over 100k. This will cost like 3-5k. Then spend like $2000 on it, get new tires, brakes, cv joints, and maybe a new stereo with an iPod input.

Then drive for another decade.

You're spending WAY too much. All cars need work, spending more on a newer on does not keep that from happening."

Seriously!? WOW.

You were not banned for that. The tempban happened from cumulative outstanding infractions, that must have been the one that pushed you over the trigger line.

To my knowledge, this is the first tempban you've ever respected. Congratulations, your stock has just gone up.

Yeah, well when it's a REASONABLE time period, even for something unreasonable, I can respect it. When it's "FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER", for something dumb, I'm not going to respect it.

For saying that someone is being dumb.... when they are being dumb? Gotcha. I'll reword that to something not as blatant next time. Like, "You are in no way being remotely intelligent."

Did you read reader50's explanation? This policy has been around in the 'NN software for at least a couple of years.

And personal attacks have always been infraction-worthy (I've got at least one before).

You've been here long enough to understand how the infraction/point system works.

You're not that dumb - you're just being it, here, for dramatic effect.

Also, please stop posting threads about how you got wronged by the system.

Wow. If anybody questioned my "dumb" comment, please see this myspace profile:

Tucker Max? really? Gone in 60 seconds?! Wow. And of COURSE, of COURSE this guy has a freaking finance/business/marketing degree. OH WAIT. HE DIDN'T EVEN FINISH. I'm sure clients will be impressed with a new economy car. What a complete joke.

Rob, did you notice that the Myspace page you were discussing hasn't been updated for a while? Of course I can't argue with how silly most Myspace pages look-and how they can look worse if they're not updated regularly.

Of course keeping in mind that you got the temp ban for racking up minor infractions should help you avoid new ones in the future. If you pay attention to how you come across, that is.

Last login was yesterday, so one can assume the content is currently appropriate.

Of course, Rob's post still isn't.

Last login doesn't address whether or not the user reviewed his status, etc. The same thing happens on Facebook; people use it ONLY for keeping up with friends and acquaintances and don't remember all the fluff they posted about themselves, so status messages like "still ticked at the GF for the ice cream incident" linger. It's one of the (I think) failings of both Myspace and Facebook. That and the silly games.

But you're right that Rob turned things inappropriately personal with that post.

Wow, I didn't realize I had such an adamant follower. How flattering!

BTW, I DID complete my degree. I didn't realize my MySpace page reflected otherwise. Oh well.

This joker is taking this whole thing to a level that is a little strange and uncomfortable to be completely honest.

The formal stand of the staff is that verbal or any other form of abuse from another member is not tolerated. It's not civil, it's not useful, and it's not helpful to anyone.
