I think if people are crazy enough to hang around here for 10 years, we should get special stars.

I think it’s neat, too (if it’s possible/not too much bother to hack the forum to give stars based on account age, rather than just post number).
They should be wrinkled stars, of course.

oh; very interesting idea. i support it as well.
those though that have been here 10 years though, using dozens of accounts, don't count. has to be the original account to get the special stars on

we should open up a design comp, for the 10+ year folks. that way they have some input on the stars (or whatever icon the winning design is).

Okay. . .
Anyway, it's an interesting idea but I personally like the CI stars. I just regained CI stars and don't really feel like giving them up, in truth. But I guess I'd have to see the proposed change to know whether I would be in favor of it or not.
Maybe Decade Members can get some other special iconic designation in addition to their regular stars.

I've thought for a while that total post count is only part of the picture of a poster's status.
That "posts per day" is a pretty good indicator of craziness.
Length of time seems to be the most honest, like a Bartles and Jaymes commercial. I like this idea.
