I made a post there a few days ago, and have to assume most people missed it.

So you don't have to click the other thread, the question is along the lines of "is search working for anyone? It's not working for me across multiple machines. I just get a blank page."

The point here though is that it's really easy to miss a new post to a sticky, and much more difficult to miss a new thread. Since my question isn't exactly a zinger, and is answerable by anyone, I assume this is what happened.

Works fine here, although the search engine isn't great these days.

Search has been glitchy (occasional blank pages) since the forum server was upgraded from PHP4 to PHP5. The server guys didn't want to keep maintaining an older PHP install.

It behaves like a limited-RAM problem, but significantly increasing the RAM allocation hasn't solved it. I've taken several stabs at the problem, with little result.

Ouch. Been there (in different circumstances, otherwise I'd offer to help). That sucks.
