edit: The title should read "Interest Based Ads."

I've noticed this thing show up a few times:

If I scroll up or down, it stays in the same place. If I resize the window, it jumps around. Odd?

At least it doesn’t follow your cursor like some ads do!

Got it again. It's happened on OS 10.6.6 with Safari and XP with Chrome.

Can you get us a URL for it? Page code would be even better, if you have Firebug installed.

Showed up again:

When clicked, it brought this up:

The bit I clicked on wasn't recognized as a url, just an image. The text inside of the pop up was highlight-able text, but it didn't appear anywhere within the page source code.

This page would appear to explain the icon found in the "Interest Based Ads" button.
As to why it's showing-up for Laminar and not others (as far as we know) I'd say it's possibly based on a cookie you've picked-up somewhere.

There appears to be an opt-out page on that site. Of course, it requires you to allow 3rd-party cookies.
