200 x 50 px are the guidelines.

Edit: So, yes.

He he. Looks exactly the same.

Be patient. I don't have Photoshop on my iMac so resizing is all guesswork.

It's in excess of 300 px right now, so try to eye a reduction of about a third.

Oh for the love of God. Any non-photoshop solutions?

With Save As?

Remember the endlessly useful square-crop using the shift key in Preview. That feature was removed in an update a few years back.

As long as I live, it will never make sense.

Hint: you can keep the earlier versions of Preview. Rename them before doing an OS update. They usually still work, so drop your file on the older version, or use Open With.

To this day, I keep the version of Grab that was distributed with the OS X beta. Reason: this version of Grab doesn't quit if DVD Player is running.
