Convert AIFF --> MP3???

I have been looking for a program that converts AIFF files to MP3 in OS X. I thought it would be a relatively easy search since it is a pretty common conversion, but I could not find one program on Versiontracker or Apple to do this. PLEASE HELP!!!

iTunes won't convert it? It does in OS 9.
