When browsing the library in iTunes3, I managed to browse by genre, artist, and album. However, since I listen to classical music, I would like to browse by composer. Anyway to do that?

TIA!

I was thinking of batch swapping the tags so that the composer's name was in the artist field and visa versa. I haven't tried it yet.

The iPod does let you browse by composer.

Yes, you can. In iTune3, under Edit, view option, check box - composer. Then in the iTune window, scrow to the right, and you'll see composer column. Hope this help.

Nutbits: Yes, the iPod browse by Composer is exactly what I had in mind. However, I strong believe in putting the composer in the ocmposer field and the performer in the artist field though.

Molow: Indeed I could do that and have done that. But in Library, I could only get the genre, artist, and album on the top pane and not composer.
