Hello!
This is somewhat of a complicated question. I understand that the new ForMac Studio DV is essentially the same as the ForMac Studio DV/TV, without the TV tuner.
I think the new model without the TV tuner may still do what I want it to, but I'm not sure...that's my question:
I have digital cable. My converter box has RCA (red, yellow, white) output, as well as the regular cable output.
Now because the old and new Studios both have RCA in, will the new cheaper model be able to convert the digital cable as if it was just any other footage, or is the "Tv Tuner" necessary to do this? Also, is the TV Tuner just a software implement or does the ForMac DV/TV have more inputs?
Thanks in advance for all the help!
Josh
