iDVD Slideshow Question

I'm in the process of creating my first iDVD project and have a fairly basic question concerning a Slideshow I want to create.

For optimal quality when viewing the slideshow on a TV, what resolution should I create the .jpgs in? I have all of my pictures in iPhoto at 3.2 megapixel quality. I know that when I create quicktime slideshows for viewing on the screen, 800x600 or 1024x768 both look great. I'd like to create my slideshows for iDVD in the lowest size possible (so that I can fit more slideshows on the DVD) but want to maintain the quality.

Any suggestions from those who have done this before?

Chris

Most TVs (unless you gave an HD enabled one) are 640x480. If the size is anything larger (800x600) iDVD will just scale them down. JPEG format should be fine.
I am stupidest when I try to be funny.
