I updated to OS X.2 and I thought I'd tried to record again since then, but I can't do it now. When I hit the "record" button, I'm told Peak is "unable to obtain a recording channel." When I hit the "record setting" button, I'm told "there was an error while trying to open a new sound channel." I restarted the TiBook 800 DVI with Peak 3.10 installed and the same messages result. The only apps open after restart were finder, Peak and Clock- none recording through QuickTime as far as I can tell.

I'm trying to use the "line in" and I see a signal in the sound portion of the system preference. I will be getting an iMic tomorrow to record through the USB port, so I'm not sure if this is only a problem today, or if there's some other problem going on that will still be problem.

Thanks. Joel.
