Ok, now the s*it has hit the fan...
Right now I´m authoring a DVD video disc that's supposed to contain 150 very short shortfilms. A lot of hard work, but that's not enough, as i now discover that DVD Studio Pro (even version 1.5) only supports 99 video tracks in each project.
There must be a workaround. So far I've come up with these more or less possible solutions:
1. Merge the films so that each mpeg2-file will contain, for instance, 5 films. And then access different films within the mpeg2-file by scripting. This would be easy if it's possible to merge mpeg2-files in Quicktime Player, but as far as I know that's not possible (I will have to merge the files and then re-encode them).
2. In the Apple DVD Studio Pro discussion forum it seems as it's possible to get around the "99"-limit by creating separate projects and then link them together. How do you do that?
3. Unlikely but yet tempting option: Find a beta of DVD Studio Pro 2.0 (if it supports more than 99 video tracks). Or, in some way, hack the current version of DVD Studio Pro to support more than 99 video tracks...
Are there any DVD gurus here who knows how to save my day?
