I was just wondering if anyone had advice to offer on Formac's Studio DV/TV.

Essentially I need to get video from VHS in - edit it - and back out to VHS again.

Is the Formac product the best one - any others?

Also we are running 10.2 - anyone have any problems with Studio and 10.2.

Many thanks!

There are at least 3 ADC (analog to digital)/DAC (digital to analog) video converters.

Formac Studio DV, Dazzle Hollywood Bridge, and DataVideo DAC.

Since your VCR probally has RCA jacks, you don't need the extra TV tuner on the Formac DV/TV, so the DV version will be fine.

Any of the three above will do what you want. Doesn't really matter which one as VHS is much lower in quality then any of those units are capable of capturing.

And the new Formac software does run on 10.2.
