I need to know for sure if it does or does not work so that I know which route to take to fix my problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I've got a beige G3 333 with an Orange PCI USB/Firewire card, and I'm sitting here listening to iTunes with an iMic. Works just fine...
I've also used an M-audio Duo USB box for the same purpose - nicer sound, but I can't justify keeping it just for playback!
Unfortunately audio recording is not as good on this machine - gives me nasty artifacts. I use my iBook for that instead.
I'm running 10.2.1 (448 Mb of memory)
I'd say it's definitely worth a try.
