Just wanted to let the MacNN forum members know that I uploaded a short film I did with my nephews. I shot it with a Canon GL-1, editing and visual effects were done on my G4. Surf over to www.teknomage.com, hit the downlink. Hope you folks enjoy it as much as we did making it!

yes, the video looks good. well, the first 10 seconds or so. my attention span doesn't let me download 35 MB without closing the browser window. Why don't you let it be downloaded with a right-click-whatever? And why did you let your audio take up 2/3 of the file size? Have you not heard of this thing called mp3?

well, the effects do look cool...

lucylawless,
Li'l Jedi was compressed for the web using Media Cleaner EZ v.4.0. The codec settings I used came about after trying pretty much all the settings that were available through this program. Part of those settings turned out to be: Progressive Download for the Web, audio compressed via Alaw 2:1. MP3 wasn't an option.
Thanks for the feedback.

TM.

Just wanted to let the MacNN forum members know that you can now see Li'l Jedi at IFILM. Just go to this link:

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilm/product/f...451743,00.html

and it will bring you right to the download page.

There were some folks out there who were having problems downloading the film from my website. Hopefully this will allow them to see it too. The IFILM techs compressed Li'l Jedi in quicktime and real media versions.

Enjoy!

Excellent job,

Just curious which was your main editing program for your short film?
